That's my understanding as well.
Which means, for things like my death, we can always JUMP back to a day I'm alive and I can change which day I die, or who I kill, or whatever. Which makes my head hurt a little bit to think about.
It would also mean we could do things like put in all of our orders, have Cythraul JUMP us to the last day and eliminate half the village in one swell foop. It wouldn't accomplish as much as it seems since we'd still have to kill everyone else. And I'm sure there are village abilities out there that make this less than an ideal plan.

Unless you're permanent dead. Then the orders are locked in for eternity. Here's my thinking: Our JUMPs should be used as much for information as it should be for kills. The village is going to have a similar set of specials like we do, who kill people on certain days and guard people on certain days. What we need to do is to find out who they are, perma-kill them so they can't change their orders, and change our orders to get around them. Be aware that the JUMPs may grant the village information about us as well. We've got to think about this carefully. Which, now that I think about it, it becomes even more imperative for us to avoid perma-death. Well except for me, because I'm not important. ...oh. Yeah, I should be sticking my neck out there.

Kilnaga just told me he doesn't understand the whole day vs jump thing which, if he's telling the truth, likely means he's vanilla.

38thDoe says that everyone he is talking to is playing cautiously and that no one will even go so far as to say they're village.

Sports didn't bother with a spreadsheet.
I know you have a spreadsheet, even if the game itself is rather esoteric.

Regarding our guards, I think for the time being we should protect Cythraul. Our ability to choose where we jump to is probably our most valuable tool.
